We invite artists who are working with new media.
Residents of the countries: Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Poland

aboutNEW MEDIA ART

The term ‘new media art’ means that artist use digital technologies to create an art object.

For example: 

  • digital art

  • computer graphics

  • computer animation

  • virtual art

  • net art

  • cyborg art movement

  • VJing

  • media installation

  • media performance

  • media landscape

  • using VR, video games, 3D-mapping,

  • digital photo, video and sound art.

DETAILS /

what we expect from artists

In the course of the program, artists are invited to work out with part of the archive and fund of the museum-studio of I. Kalvaleridze, and create at least one work for the main exposition by using new media and gadgets.

who can take part

Artists who are working with new media.
Residents of the countries:

Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan,

Armenia and Poland.
Participation throughout the term of the residence

from 15.10 to 26.10.2018.

what conditions we offer

The artists will recieve open access to the museum's fund, with the opportunity to get advice from the project’s curators and museum researchers.
An excursion in Kyiv will also be held, with visits to places where I. Kavaleridze had lived / worked, and with overview of his works and architectural, sculptural monuments of the Soviet times.

  • fill out a questionnaire by the link (you can fill in English, Ukrainian or Russian)

  • Portfolio in PDF format up to 10 pages with works of the last 3 years and / or a link to the site

  • CV in PDF format

ATTENTION! Portfolio and CV should be uploaded to your own cloud storage warehouse, provide access and link to the relevant item in the questionnaire form.
